Summoning 2,000 Books

We are only a few days away from the launch of 'The Deluminator's' First Accio Books drive.
We have cemented links with the 'Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation', our charity of choice who will be receiving all of our Book donations. The ALNF's 'Share a Book' endeavour allows our books to be sent to different indigenous community libraries throughout Australia where they are shared with the people, in an attempt to bridge the literacy gap in Australia.

We all know how important literacy is, and thanks to the generous offer of a rumpus room in Turramurra - we now have a location in which to store and sort all of these incredibly beneficial books.

We are in the process of organising collection points situated all across Sydney, in Schools, Preschools, Synagogues, Churches and Workplaces as well as flyers in local shopping centres and Universities.
Our goal to reach 2,000 + books by the end of April is becoming a more solid reality thanks to all the effort everyone has put in.
What a great way to kick off what will hopefully be a long run for the deluminators

Unicorn Blood drive is quietly working away back stage, with a group of Deluminators going in to give blood next week.
Care of Magical Creatures Pound day is also very close to being a reality thanks to our Chapter Organiser, Alice
The Dobby Project (A knitting event) has also been taken up by the amazing Sasha in order to supply clothing to the homeless and to disadvantaged people throughout the cold months of the year

Stay tuned for updates, and look out for ways to get involved
